Allied Soil Health is led by Dr. Brandon Smith, a plant and soil scientist with over 30 years of experience. Brandon works nationwide, offering clients expertise on using biochar as a synergistic tool to enhance other soil health management strategies. Before founding his business in 2022, he spent 14 years with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). He is best known for creating the Soil Carbon Amendment practice (336), which focuses on the application of biochar and compost to improve soil health and sequester carbon.
