Abstract
Biochar stories: successes and failures
Everyone likes to hear stories. When people contact me, they want to hear about how well their project can go, or how bad it could get. I often hear about how difficult it is to find real success or failure stories in the biochar world. Most happen behind closed doors to prevent negative press or keep competitive advantages. We have decided to present some of these real-life success and failure stories, the challenges encountered and the numbers related to these stories related to biochar production, usage and commercialization.
