How much does it cost to produce biochar? That is a question we constantly receive. The boring answer is: it depends. But what does it depend on, and how much does it vary?
This presentation intends on presenting case studies of biochar production costs with different variables, including biomass, labor, equipment and other operational costs. Limitations and challenges to build an economically and financially viable biochar project will also be presented, drawing from examples across the world.
