Currently, she specializes in biochar technology and market development. Commissioned by a broad portfolio of clients, Ms. Wilson has been a reliable voice for climate change, energy, and the environment and authored white papers, research summaries, reports, cost study papers, grant proposals, and hundreds of articles. Her clients include the International Biochar Initiative (IBI), Cool Planet Energy Systems, Oregon Biochar Solutions, Frye Poultry, Pembroke Family Farmers, Washington State Department of Ecology, South Umpqua Rural Community Partnership, North Dakota State University, Utah State University, Nebraska Forest Service and many others. As Communications Editor and Project Development Director for the International Biochar Initiative (IBI) between 2008 and 2012, Ms. Wilson managed the public process and document development to publish the first international standards for product definition and testing.
