OFX EcoSolutions is an innovative, environmentally-focused disposition, remediation and carbon offset development company engaged in utilizing biochar to address longstanding challenges in the oil and gas industry. As we develop and refine our business model, we have struggled with the economics of using biochar in novel applications such as remediation and building materials. That said, as prices begin to drop, we have been encouraged that we continue to discover new applications that may deliver cost savings while also addressing multiple SDG’s. Our experienced team is confident in its ability to demonstrate to the oil and gas industry a new methodology utilizing biochar to reduce the carbon intensity of their operations surrounding the plugging of their oil and gas wells.

Our presentation will focus on the exceptional value the use of biochar could generate when included in the process of plugging shut-in, abandoned or orphaned oil and gas wells. Our proprietary methodology will lessen the carbon intensity or could possibly eliminate the carbon footprint of plugging operations while also delivering a number of other valuable benefits, both tangible and intangible, to the oil and gas industry.
