Building the Future from the Ground Up

Phoenix Energy develops, owns, and operates community-scale Bioenergy withCarbon Capture and Storage plants (BECCS) that provide jobs in some of the State’shardest hit communities. We are one of the only companies to have gone fromconcept to kilowatt multiple times with a proven business model. Having justcompleted a 2MW project (NFCP) in the Sierra National Forest we have currentlystarted construction ona 3MW plant (BMEC) at the intersection of the Stanislaus andEldorado National Forests. Our third project will break ground 2025 at NapaRecycling & Waste Services (NRWS). Phoenix has an aggressive, but achievable goalto build and operate 50 new plants in the next 10 years, leading to 2 Gigatons of CO₂removed by 2054. These community-scale plants will be designed to leverage a best-of-breed operations hub, utilizing data and analytics to gain economies of scale andoperational efficiencies across the network.Phoenix Energy develops, owns, and operates community-scale Bioenergy withCarbon Capture and Storage plants (BECCS) that provide jobs in some of the State’shardest hit communities.
